Hey I am just curious if anyone here has ever had baclofen withdrawal symptoms.. I was reading abouyt them on wiki and they can be pretty extreme i was surprised.

i haven't experienced them as such, but when i switched from oral baclofen to a pump, my oral dose was reduced gradually which i guess indicates that the body needs it after a certain period of dependence.


it was easier than giving up the smack though.

Yes, I have. my doctor has refused to renew my script for it and after a few days without it i couldn't sleep and i was having terrible spasms

Oh I know it. My body gets it when I'm coming up close to the time I need it. If I skip doses it causes some rough times. I feel for the guy that had to wait a few days to get his prescription.

I've had them, it's unpleasant, but not unbearable. I get the shakes, cold sweats and can't sleep. My whole body feels cramped up and stiff, like having a bad flu without any fever. Then, of course, my spasms get worse to the point of being painful. I always feel like a junkie when I'm having baclofen withdrawals! I usually just curl up under the covers into a tight ball and curse my doctor for taking so long with my prescription.
