Five lodged stones and another infection.
Probably going to have surgery on Monday.
I am so tired of this happening every month.
I eat right, drink plenty of water.
The messed-up thing is that I can still make it to the bathroom with a walker or cane (on a good day) and it looks like I am going to have to have a catheter anyway so I can flush from time to time.

I don't quite know what words to offer you but wanted to send you a comforting hug :yikes:

I do hope things get better for you and SOON!

Thank you very much, it means a lot to me.
I isolated myself for so long I have forgotten what it is like not to feel like I am dealing with this alone.

Find out what the stones are made of and then find out why you are producing this so much that they create stones. Its probably uric acid and there are many simple reasons why you might produce this in excess. Ask you Dr to find out what the stones are made of and take the appropriate action so you stop making them.

So sorry to know that you're again facing yet another health obstacle. I can hear the weariness in your voice, but please know that you're not alone.

What is that one method they use for stones....something like ultra-sound to break them up without having to undergo surgery? Would that method work for the types of stones you have?

Hoping that things turn around for you soon...maybe even be able to avoid the surgery altogether.

~Fingers crossed.

Calcite stones, basically calcium and other minerals. My bones and supplements being flushed.

The pain is a lot worse and tomorrow is my son's school's father son olympics. My dad is going with us to do all the stuff I can't but now it looks like I'm not going to be able to go with him at all and I am VERY upset.
This kind of thing really gets to him as well as my being in the hospital, which is going to happen right after.
I haven't had much sleep over the last few days, so I'm not very focused right now.
Sorry.

Gosh, rkzenrage, that hurts.
Your love for your son is touching.
Take care. I care.
I want you back here keeping us honest.

So sorry to hear about the painful stones, rkzenrage. Good luck to your son and grandpa at the olympics and hope you're feeling better real soon.

I was not able to go to the olympics.
I spent the morning passing a large stone and the rest of the day in pre-op at the hospital, long day.

I'm home.
They said it was the size of a "candy corn" and could not pull it out.
When I came to they kept me under observation until I passed some of it.
I'm bleeding quite a bit, so I'm on antibiotics and straining until I've gotten it all.
Pretty uncomfortable now, but I'm sure this will help me in the long run.

Lot better today.
The last few days have been pure hell.
The procedure really set-off my back and hip.
Thanks for all your support.
Still have not passed the pieces though.
