With the holiday season comming up, I have found a few nice little dresses to wear to some parties. The problem I have is getting pantyhose on without snagging or tearing them. I can usually do not too bad from a laying down position, but if I have to use the washroom, I am in trouble when it comes time to get them back up.

Any sugestions? I should also mention that stockings are not a option with one of the dresses as it is too short.

Hi, please don't take this as dodgy but have you thought of suspender type stockings? Mind you, they may cause pressure sores where the catches are. Perhaps you could get some for individual legs or have them modified by sewing tape into the tops of the legs and cutting them down.

You can buy ladder and snag resistant tights, aristoc do some very nice tights. Cheap tights always snag when I use them. Invest in a few pairs, I've found the silkier the tight the more chance I have of keeping them after one use ;)

Wish I had some input but I haven't dealt with stockings just yet. I'd probably settle and end up carrying a bottle of clear nail polish with me if I were to wear stockings.

I just tend to wear longer skirts and dresses. ;) Just get the snag resistant kind I guess. Enjoy your parties.
