I have a supra pubic catheter. I 'cork' it until I need to empty my bladder. It is a 16 french. It hangs down almost to my knees and gets hung up all the time. Pulled it out twice, with the ballon inflated, believe me that won't happen again! Oh I should mention I have my sensation intact and am on pain pills to deal with the indwelling cath. I can't complain though. My QUESTION is do they make short catheters? One that will only come out a few inches or so and a foley. Would anyone else have a use for a cath like this??? Thanks
