Hi, not sure im in the right place. I havent had an accident or anything, i have sme kind of degenerative neurological condition that is causing the nerves in my spine to wither and generall kinda rot away, but only from the chest down. Theres dosent seem to be anything around specifically for people like me as we dont know what wrong yet (although a after a year of testing youd think they had some idea) Im currently confined to a wheelchair for everything other than maybe a few steps a day.
Basically i need some help dealing with everything and just people to talk to as all my friends have disappeared and was wondering if im in the right place?

Yep, you're in the right place, you've got spinal nerve damage. Look around the forum and see if we fit right for you. If so, join in and start asking us about "everything".

Hi semirameris,

Like you I also have a degenerative problem from crushed discs that I did years ago. I can walk a few yards but its that painful it really doesn't feel worth it. I'm about to go for my first wheelchair assessment and having a tough time accepting my disability. I've found loads of information on here and hope to meet new friends (I only registered today 7/4/09) from all over regardless of their disability.

You are definetly in the right place if you're looking for support, answers and a good time. Do not hesitate to ask anything and everything or if you need to vent or rage about something were here for that too. Hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.
