Hows the food? When I was in one it wasn't the greatest lots of bread and pasta. I started just eating meat and veges so I didn't gain to much weight.

Sorry to hear that, Dave. At least you have a line to the outside world. I once spent 8-1/2 mos in a N H shortly after my accident. Hope your stay is short!

Hang in there. Nursing homes are for people who are old or ill........NOT for those who are still full of life. Wish you the best of luck.

Hello Dave

dont worry things will get better. Keep your head up and concentrate on things to do to get outta there! also remember if you dont like it there and you need to be in a nursing home for a little while you can always tranfer to another one. otherwise just hang in there!

Keep on Rockin' Dave.........

My brother came to visit me on Thanksgiving, was in a horrible 11 car wreck in Springfield, MO on his way back home........ He too is now in a SHIT-HOLE nursing home for at least 2 months and will miss the AC/DC concert, that he bought tickets for.....

Hey Dave, got your message on my space, start reading that book again! Keep your eyes on the positive and get out of there... life isn't all that bad unless you make it out to be! Smile!
