Left Ankle Tibial Plateau

  • Spinal Injury Level / Relationship:L3 L5 Burst Fracture

I have a metal plate inserted in my left ankle due to the fracture there. It restricts my walking and makes walking unnatural due to the fact that there is foot drop(becos of spinal injury) and the metal restricting the upward lifting of the left ankle. Do you think removing the metal plate can help to make my walking better. Or is it better to be left inside for added support? Will there be a danger if I go for another op since I have done two major ops for spinal injury?
