im out, its nice but my sisters house is not accessible at all! oh well. better than the nursing home! my dog was here to greet me

Good for you. I was in one for 2 years in the 1970s. With the passing of my wife (my care taker) just 9 days ago, I'm bewildered. I'm hoping I can get a live-in person so I can keep my home and stay out of a facility.

Yes, sorry about your wife too Noles and hope you find some sort of alternative arrangement to a rest home.

That is what you need Dave, a bit of unconditional doggy love and this site. Good to hear you escaped for the holidays, just make sure you take care of yourself so you don't have to go back in.
