Has there ever been a decision on how long a quad lives? I understand that this depends on what age a quad was injured and what level the injury is. There are other variables also such as diet, living conditions, etc. There however must be an average, right?

--A quad for 34 years and age 53. :help:

Well I think they say the average age a person dies of old age is in the early to mid 80's, but that doesn't explain all the people who are in their late 80's and early 90's and still tending their own gardens now does it?

So long as you can avoid any sores, UTI, or other illness you may just outlive some of your Dr.s. :) Just try to stay happy and healthy and you'll be a very old man. :badmood:

The ones who are still healthy at the age of 90 make up for those who die in their 20's, 30's, 40's etc. After all, you did say average.

Hi Noles

There is an average lifespan for quads just as for your average AB.
But then who wants to be average? :mfrlol:

In my opinion quality of life is more important than longevity.Living to 90 is great if youre healthy and still have all your marbles..but for some it is a living hell.

Wheeliebear said it ...health and happiness!
