My friends 10 year old is paralyzed from the waiste down due to a car accident. I found a barbie doll in a wheelchair. Do you think this would be a good gift for her to have a doll like her her? Or is it insensitive.
Thanks

The whole Barbie thing is insensitive in my mind so yeah why not have one in a wheelchair.
As a gift for a paraplegic 10 year old, I think no.
If she was younger I'd be all for it and suggest getting them for her friends too;
but at her age it could well end up getting in her way and being crushed by her real chair!

Hang on a minute it's christmas day, WHAT AM I SAYING,

Get the kid the toy! :lmao:
How does it feel to feel?

Ahhhh, if she is already into Barbie thats much easier!

Yes, yes and yes.

The kid gets the toy.

Who are we to tell a child what to be into and how to react to anything challenging, sounds like she knows what she likes and you should
give it to her.

I'm sure this time Lisa.
