Standard Poodle, her name is Bella. A very smart and loving kind. We love her like our own kids.

We have a mini-dachshund. He is only 7.5lbs. I would never recommend one to anybody! Hard to train and barks a lot. But CUTE. =]
We also have a West Highland Terrier. He will be 20lbs. So sweet and CUTE! =]

Cute cute dog Billy..

I wouldnt recommend a mini ANYTHING to ANYONE EVER. They are all hyper and seem to be on the verge of retardation, despite the breed.

We have a massive German Shepard, I dont need her for assistance, shes just a family pet.. But shes very aware of my abilities and protective of me as well. I love it! Last time I fell she was barking before I could even start barking myself. Pretty good deal if I were to knock myself out..

Billy,
Don't you just love your mastiffs? Recently, my daughter moved to town and couldn't take King with her. So, she asked if we would take him and we did. We just love having a dog back in our home. He's a 3yr old French Mastiff (red) and weighs in at about 145 pounds. I'll try to get some photos of him to post. He has topped off my heart with his unconditional love. His presence in our home truly makes me feel "whole" again. -Mark-

Siberian Husky named Timber he is 3yr old and about 80 something pounds. He loves pulling......not so into the stopping, and stubborn as a mule. He is sweet though and loves to cuddle. Luckily he hasn't eaten any of the cats.

My 5lb toy poodle, her name is Angel. Afraid I may have jinxed her with that name...she's not really hyper like most little dogs but she can be pretty yappy. I love her though, she's my baby, and my guard dog...or so she thinks :)

I am being held hostage by this dog, he makes me feed him, take him for walks, clean up after him and he is always making me give him cookies. He won't let me go any where unless he goes along to make sure I don't escape. He says his name is Lio and that he's Rhodesian Ridge back, Pit Bull and Sharpie, he weights about 90 lbs and is one year old. He can stand on his hind legs like a human and does so when excited or if I don't perform to his expectations. He is going to go to school to get programed to pull me and heal and not be so excitable. He is the biggest flirt I've ever seen he can really make the girls swoon big time and does so every chance he gets.

Those things could not possibly be real. They're way too cute. Probably plastic, purchased at one of those little stores in a carwash.

As a kid we always had dogs. Usually lil' yappers as I like to call 'em.
In college I bought a pitbull from some guy for 50 bucks. From that time on I decided I'd never own anything else.

Of all I had, two really stand out. Dozer, dumb as a box of rocks but dead game and the hardest scratching dog many a dogman had ever seen.
(if you don't understand those terms you're probably better off)
And Ajax, who was smarter than almost any human I've ever met.

I am at the moment dogless.
With a little more independence I'll start looking for something nice and small so it doesn't drag me and the chair to hell and back.

Wow Dave, a fourteen year old pitty, you must be doing a great job. Was that photo recent? He looks so young for his age. One of ours is an American pitbull and is now 15, one of her "buddies" is 17 but has cancer. The American Pit is showing every inch her age. Once she lost interest in walking she has aged really quickly.
My own personal dog is a cross between a kelpie, perhaps some lab and maybe staffie too. She is a reddish brown with a white chest and feet. She weighs around 30kg (around 66 pounds I think) down from 35 since I got her. She belonged to my aunt but she had to go into care and had to give her up. I was going to go for a smaller dog that could ride in my sea kayak but this one came along and I couldn't say no. She's about eight and had been locked away for three of those because of my aunts condition.
She was pretty hyper and chased cars, birds, cats, bumble bees, anything. It took a while but I managed to get her prety sociable. She's pretty well a dream now. Well socialised and good to walk, even gets on with most cats. Who said you can't teach an older dog new tricks anyway?
My last two dogs were rottweiller cross strays (I never choose dogs, they seem to just come to me) and to be honest, when they got sick and had to be carried I realised they were just a bit too big for me to handle. They were both brothers and died a month apart, I was totally devastated.

Always had German Shepherds, My daughter also, but her beautiful GSD died last \\march. she was her soul mate. just before Christmas she rescued a cross gsd/husky, about 7 years old. a very knowing dog, very street wise, think she should have been called Houndini, she is settling in well.
It seems looking at all the different dogs you all have, they are either very large, or very small.
enjoy your dogs they are great company.
