i would say give the once you think u may be intereested in and give them a call and take a tour, let them know about your injury and dont be afraid to ask for certain things or ask about any improvments, they would be more than happy to w ork with you on it, my college is constantly asking me if eeverything is going okay and if there was anything they could change or help me with. I also e-mailed my teachers letting them no my situation and told them i would like to be setted in the back of the class so i could do pressure refeif without being in someones way. first day of school they had a spot picked out for me or asked me where i wanted to sit and if someone was there, they got botted!

:) hope this answers your question

It'd be good for you to fill out your profile and your location.

I know most (if not all) colleges in the US have a disability center that you can contact to let them know of your condition and capabilities/ limitations.

Hey i go to penn state behrend. Here they pretty much try to accommodate what every it is that i may need. I will say however this school is not for the easily frustrated. There are lots of hills (you get good arm muscles, but thats about it) and it snows a ton, and the plowing well it needs some work but the more i complain the better they get. Depending on what major you are looking for i would check out edinboro University, Edinboro University . They have something like 250 students in Chairs on campus which most people that i talk to in this area that are in chairs ask me if i thought about going there. I was already going to penn state behrend before my injury so it was hard to switch after. If edinboro doesn't interest you then i would suggest that you maybe get in touch with someone there because they may be able to suggest another university.

Being that you are in pa i would consider penn state's main campus in state college, from what i know it is fairly flat and the disability department here works with the one there a lot so i'm sure they have a good plan.

I would say just as stated earlier to search for college that may interest you and go take a look you can only tell if you like a place and if it will fit your needs by visiting this, and remember at least from my experiences nothing is going to be set up perfectly to fit you but it can be close.

Collegeboard.com if a great college research site. http://collegesearch...earch/index.jsp follow that and there is even a check box for wheelchair accessible. i will caution you on selecting that because not all colleges that are accessible are listed as such.

Sorry for the length, i just kept thinking of more stuff
