Now as anyone who knows me, and most of the forum, will tell you I like a glass of wine or 2. I don't drink as much as I used to, I also do get drunk quicker, which considering the current economic climate is not necessarily a bad thing.
The alcohol doesn't seem to affect the efficiency of the drugs and it doesn't make me sick, so as long as I'm fairly sensible I don't see a problem. Plus trying to push anywhere totally bladdered is not easy, especially up the hill to my house.
The hangovers, however, are just as bad as pre sci

I think that it may more be a case of being single. Being single means I am my own designated driver. I can drink one beer and it affects me more than it used to, possibly because I am not used to it. When I go out now and I have a ride home, possibly four to six beers or double spirits and I'm pretty well trollied.

I find that if i have extra strong mixed drinks i can get the effects of the alcohol with out ingesting as much liquid, helps with not having to cath every 30 minutes. All in all i think it still has a lot to do with the individual person, just like in any other case some can handle it better than others. Pre-Injury i was able to put down near 20 drinks in a night, and be fairly fine the next morning, now my max is around 12, but i rarely ever get that far because i know that i have to be some what aware of what i'm doing to cath and get my self back into bed with out tipping over.

Haha, funny you should say that. I just remembered something I used to do when in my chair and still did up to a few years ago, take notice of my nose. When the alcohol started to take affect the tip of my nose would go numb. After I got out of the chair and went to parties (before I was driving again) I would still touch the end of my nose to see if I was getting drunk. My friends would ask me and cracked up every time I would touch it after that and ask me "have you been drinking?"
