Bags for hanging underneath or backpacks? Underneath i have the two pocketed back that came with my TiLite.. It was great and I'm sure you could probably fit a urinal in it, I carry a litter water bottle in the large pocket and have plenty of room left. The zipper on the smaller pocket just busted though so I'm looking for a fanny pack of similar size with two pockets that is much cheaper then it would cost to replace this one.

I've searched high and low for a back pack that I really like. My wife found one and bought it for me for Christmas, so far though I haven't had a need for it though. She found it at REI and it has waterproof zippers, which is good for keeping things dry when it rains, plus water proof zippers look cool. I think thisis the one.

I use the Deluxe Down Under by www.advantagebags.com

Rather than mounting it under my chair, I put it on the back. It's small enough to never get in the way but carries everything I need.

Good Luck...

I just recently bought my bf a video camera bag (in the camera dept at Target) to strap under his chair. He LOVES it. It hold all his cath supplies, phone, wallet, keys blah blah blah

I like it because it's black and washable AND it was on sale for $19.99

I use a Cammelback Lobo. Which is normally for use as a backpack, but I clip it under my chair when I plan to be gone all day. It has more than enough storage room for my Ipod, phone, wallet, my med's, 2 catheters/diapers and anything else I need for the day. But the best part about it, is that it holds 70oz. of cold water as well. I'd highly recommend one to anyone who travels alot.

LOL I use a hydro rucksack under my chair too!! I use a Deuter H20 race bag, cos its slim enough to go between the back wheel of my handcycle... take's a 3ltr hydro bag.. and enough kit for the day :censored:

I keep another very light rucksack made of silnylon same sort of thing as a Go-Lite bag but I made it, in there incase I need another bag for shopping!

I use an old platypus drinking bladder cut in half as a folding water bowl for my dog, so we can share the same water.. so her bowl only weighs in at 7 grams.

Another good Thread, as I need a new back bag for my chair. I currently use an ordinary soft hand luggage style bag, which has a ring at each end. I buy 2 dog collars, which I thread through the rings then strap to my hand rails.

I use it for carrying shopping and we call it "The Magic Bag", because we can fit lots in it. It also has a seperate area for smaller items, but I'd never carry anything important in it. My wallet and mobile stay in my inside jacket pocket.

Are there any UK websites for bags?

Case Logic has a line of bags on their website. They are in the mobility accessories section. As for UK, I have no clue.

I used to scour Walmart for the most affordable, yet stylish one available and just throw it on the back of my chair. About 2 years ago, my wife had a store credit to Wilson's Leather so I used it to buy a leather backpack. It's a little smaller than the normal bags I would carry, but it gets the job done and stops me from carrying more stuff than I need to keep it light.
Here's the thing though. I found that the back pack straps were pulling down on the back upholstery and as a result I was suffering some back discomfort. I came up with a solution by going to Home Depot and picking up some medium sized utility belt loop things and an extra set of loops. Oh yeah, the actual ones I purchased had a heavy duty belt loop already on it. With those pieces, I was able to attach the belt loops to the handles of the chair, while being attached to the holder of the backpack. No more stress on the back upholstery of the chair. I'll take actual photos of my set-up later. But these are some pics to give a good idea of what I'm talking about.

How could I resist this one!

Please take a look at our website: www.trabasack.co.uk

Ideal as wheelchair bag but also doubles as a table/ lap tray when you need it. Has an internal pocket with a bean bag to make a level surface on your legs.

See thread 'New Product, Trabasack, Designed By A Tetraplegic' for testimonials from people who already have them.

Best wishes

I bought a Case-Logic backpack in the States a couple of years ago and it is great, except for broken rubber loops, nothing has gone wrong and it sits really well on my 16" back with handles.

See Backpack or Case Logic Range.

Well made and well thought out for wheelchair users. A mate uses the under seat one and loves it and I have unused "Catch All" and a "Lap Organiser" units if anyone interested in Australia.
