I'm 37 y/o, diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis in 2000, its been eight years of hell. I take ASACOL 12 tablets a day, ENTOCORT 3 a day, the Entocort has made a difference and for that Im grateful. Prednisone and the paraplegia have done a number on my bone mass, the symptoms from the UC make my life just miserable, I swear I base my life around the toilet and my bowel program. The solution, cut my colon out and live with another bag and gross out my partner, she hardly touches me now so I can only imagine if I have a stoma, she would probably just vomit. Im just tired of constantly having to go #2 all the freaking time! Entocort has kept me out of the hospital and ended my blood transfusions, I was bleeding alot from the UC earlier on before I started Entocort. I just want to know if there is anyone else out there that has a spinal cord injury and suffers from this horrible disease? And how do you manage if you do have it?
Autobots roll out!
