T10 complete, I do my bowel program as soon as I wake up, when I get back from work and right before bed. 3 times usually, sometimes 4, but I do have Ulcerative Colitis. Whats the norm? I know it a silly question but I feel like I can personally fertilize a small farm with the amount of poop that comes out of me! lol, its never ending. And no, I'm not a fat ass, 5'11" , 145lbs, more like a skinny ass. :censored:. I rarely have accidents at all but I'm a clean freak, unless I'm really really sick then i just live in the bathroom until I'm better.

Bacteria live in the colon and their job is to break down the stuff that the rest of the gut doesn't you can get up to 40% of the body's energy from them. If you have taken antibiotics or had a colostomy they can be killed. You can buy the bacteria to replenish your colon at a health food store or on line the good ones cost more but work better. Ones a day for me...........

T8 incomp... First thing in the morning and depending on how I feel/what and how much I've eaten that day (as well as where I am in my menstrual cycle which has an effect on my routine), I also do round 2 in the evening. I am super vigilant about my BP and rarely have bowel accidents. I'd rather be safe than sorry!

Edited to add that I also take acidophilus (probiotic) and eat lots of yogurt. This helps keep the system healthy and running smoothly!

Yeah having Ulcerative Colitis and being paraplegic sucks but oh well I deal with it. Lately Ive been taking a pro-biotic for Crohns and Irritable Bowel sufferers, "called Digestive Advantage", so far its helping, Ive noticed a difference. I was taking acidophilus but it really didnt seem to help. I hate to ask but does anyone have problems with Hemorrhoids? I guess from years of digital stimulation and being para, i suffer from ugly butthole syndrome. sigh...cry.... :P

Think once you have the hemis, you keep them for life. moving my bp from every other day to every third and introducing phillips milk of magnesia tabs seems to cool them down a bit.

It takes alot of us several hours to do the bp, mines about 2 1/2hrs, so I opt to do it every other day and I've only had maybe one accident aq year. I really should be careful with dairy products like cheese, and fatty red meat. Switching to soy milk helped too.

But three times a day . . . doesn't that take alot of time out of your day? And how is that affecting your rectal area, do you bleed from overstimulation?? It just seems a little excessive to me, but I know we're all different.

It takes me around 45 mins to an hour, never any longer. I have good results most of the time. As far as bleeding, none, maybe a few times from wiping and irritating hemis, but no bleeding from the digital stim. If there is blood its from the Ulcerative Colitis, but I haven bled since starting my Entocort treatment, bleeding is common in stool. Im really nervous about using stimulants fearing they will cause my UC to act up.

I'm pretty quick, too. I think the absence of suppositories helps,,,, when I'm done,, I'm done,,, no hiccups later.

My BP is done at night,, with my other stuff, before bed. Usually an hour or so gets it all done,, including shower and shave,, so going every night isn't much of as a problem.

Colitis is bad enough upright,,, really sucks in a chair. Glad to hear you have a handle on it, tho.

What exactly do the probiotic yogurts do to help your BP? Do they firm things up or just make you more regular? I may give that activia a try. I would appreciate any information or experiences you guys have had using the probiotic yogurts.

Everyone should be taking probiotics and eating yogurt because they aid in digestion so much. Most people have taken antibiotics at least a few times in their lives which kills off beneficial bacteria in our bodies. The good bacteria is essential to good health. Probiotics help with a variety of conditions like candida, irritable bowel syndrome, tummy issues, constipation, etc. Some say they boost the immune system and lower the chances for infections and illness. They also help your body to absorb nutrients from your food better. I've also heard that they lower the risk for urinary tract infections and for women, vaginal infections. If you start taking probiotics as a supplement, it's probably a good idea to just check with your doctor as you should before taking any new vitamin/supplement. I myself take the super 8 high potency blend from Udo's Choice.

Hope that helps!!
