My son who is SCI is seeking Mortgage Protection Life Cover has been offered cover by one insurance compnay, but they have increased the premium 50% above what an AB person would expect to pay.

Can anyone recommend a UK Insurance company who don't discriminate unreasonably against people with SCI?

Thanks!

Hi

Yes I tried to get Life INSURANCE AND THE ORIGINAL Quote was increased by 200% so I know how yu feel. Sorry I dont now of an insurance company that doesnt load the premiums. My dilemma or at least part is that I was originally diagnosed with MS as well and despite this being wrong as it is on my medical records until the consultant in question retracts it ....it stays. Can you believe that ? Good Luck with your hunt for insurance.

I've got my mortgage and the life insurance through the Abbey. NO extra charge ... and yes they know ;)
