Hi all

I have been reading a lot on thsi site, and have finally come up eioth a question that I haven't seen before. I am to have a catheter placed in my spine so that the baclofen can have effect on my arms. The catheter will run from L4 to T3-4.

I have always benefitted from chiropractic teatments. My chiroprocter is kind of leary about working on me with a catheter, is there anything I can show him ion terms of research or even anybody else's experience that may help both of us understand how chiropractic treatments will work with an ITB catheter?

My impalnt surgery is tentatively set for Feb 10th. I had a rough time with the test dose, spinal headache, severe neck pain, and nausea. I expect these things again - I f igure if I expect them and they don;t happen,, I'll be pleasantly surprised. Otherwise, I'll just be prepared.

:badmood: I would be leary of having chiropractic care. My neuro. told me no before I had the pump. Fear of tearing nerves. I have had three revisions and I don't want to chance yanking the cathetar since all three failures were due to the cathetar kinking or breaking. :doctor:
