Hi all

Can you tell me please if others have this;

If I NEED the bathroom then my legs and arms get worse so it becomes harder and slower to get to the bathroom....what a cruel thing! Once been for a pee my legs ease off a tad. So is this spastcity?

When feeling worse my bladder gets worse more frequent and/or hesitantcy.

iF i TRY AND HOLD ON [which is not for long] WHEN IN NEED OF A Pee THEN MY LEGS AND ARMS GET WORSE also I often find myself then needing to poo as well as pee.

I dont have any squeeze function when trying to evacuate etc. I just have to wait til it wants to come out etc. Sometimes the sheer effort required leaves me exhausted,

Sorry about some of the more personal issues. PLEASE DONT JUST READ THIS GIVE ME SOME FEEDBACK!!

Don't have this problem with going to the bathroom, but when my wife wants me to do any house work, I find my arms and legs get slower and harder to use. :w00t: For some reason she just doesn't believe me when I explain this to her.

I have alot of problems too when I need to go to the bathroom but my spasms seem to kick in. Which make my transfers more difficult. If I wait too long thenpain in my lower back and butt starts too. As far as the fatigue goes I suppose it just depends on the day. If I haven't slept well or antibioticts and pain meds, I seem to be alot slower at things. Other times I seem to be tired for no reason at all. I take it day for day. If I feel good I do extra chores to make up for the days that I'm too tired to do much. I did try energy drinks a couple of time but found they affected my blood pressure which made things worse. They aren't good for you anyway. I don't know why I seem to always be so tired so I'm not sure why you are either but some things you'll find that will contribute to this. Try to learn as many of these triggers so at least you know its comming and can be prepared. I rest often I don't try to do too much at once. Take breaks when cleaning house. Like if I have 3 baskets of laundry I only do one at a time take a 10 min in between so my arms wont hurt. My teeth don't chatter but my arms shake horribly when I'm cold . If I tried to write anything it would resemble my 5yo's first attempt at writing his name.
I hope this helps some! Goodluck.

Hi all [ dont know why this message keeps getting moved????]

Thanks for your reply..please also see my other message on fatigue and spastcity. Please can you tell me more by what you mean re spasms? Its not the tiredness that prevents me so much as the heavy weak legs and arms which can get worse without warning not sure if this is spasticity or just fatigue etc. I do take little rests like you sometimes they work sometimes they dont.

I think i know what you mean. If i need to go to the loo then my legs feel worse, and often if i leave it too late will spasm, which means i can't get there quickly enouhgh and i have an accident. i am managing by going to the loo regulary, especially if i have been drinking lots of tea.
