If not,, and he can beat the competition,,, how can they stop him from competeing???
As far as I'm concerned,, as long as he's clean when in competition,, what's the big deal???? It's not like he's hurting anyone else by smoking a bit of ganza,,,, hell, tobacco's worse.

But I'd still like to see Michael Phelps react honestly and say most people he knows use it and he's done it plenty of times before, it's great fun with no harm and better than booze. C'mon Michael.

So what's the big deal,,,, other than the hypocritical "moral majority" who don't want their kids doing what they won't admit that they did themselves.
I just heard today that he has been suspended for threee months by the organization that pays him to train and compete,,,,, OH ,, wait,,, he gets what is called a stipend,,,,that's so he can still be called an amateur,,,, a holdover from when it was thought that people actually believed they were amateurs. Any way,, he doesn't get his stipend for three months,, Big whoo.
The clip they showed while telling us this tidbit,, was of him entering his local training facility for a practice session......... Life goes on.
My hope is that the asshole who took and sold the picture,, contracts herpes,,,,, well,, no,,, that's a bit harsh,,,, maybe just head lice.

Go arrest one of the crack dealers that can be found on almost any corner in any US urban area,,, and leave the one time,, or even occasional smoker of a bit of vegetation,, alone.
It is being done,,, so it is said,,, to set an example...... What's the example???? Work hard all you life, and make one mistake and we will come down on you hard???
Hard to believe there are so many, walking around with, what are apparantly successful, penis to cranium transplants.
It's, truthfully, not all that different from the controversy over performance inhancing drugs,,,,,Other than the sports betters,,, who does it hurt? The players???? Their choice...
I'm from Pittsburgh,,, well close, anyway,,,, and all I hear is "We won",,or " We went all the way",,,,, Bullshite!!!! If you didn't play,,, YOU didn't win anything. I have never understood this need for vicarious success.
Of the many things I'd like to see happen,,, one is for the general public to finially understand that professional sports,, of ANY kind, , are not needed,,,,, and stop watching,, and caring.
Maybe then, those hyperthyroid freaks could all get on with their life's work,,,,, mostly in the lifting and grunting industry, I should think.
Sorry to hijack the thread for that rant,,,,, couldn't help myself.

I am 100% with Nomis on this one!
