hi all i am a single mom of a 3 year old girl and am having a horrible time trying to get her to use the potty!!!(she says, " mommy you dont go pee on the potty why do i have to???") dont really know what to do can i get some help?

i have tried to explain that mommy is broken but i am getting abit discouraged

do what i did with mine...BEAT THEM TIL THEY RUN TO THE TOILET FOR COMFORT...no really, i don't have a clue...my kids were pt'd before my injury (except rissa, but she stopped wetting her pants by high-school) and when they were little i beat the piss out of them before we left the house to avoid accidents in public anyway....

no for real, she's playing you...she knows no smokes, she knows no knives, she knows not to drive, etc. etc.....many things we do that they know not to...if she knows to argue, she knows better.....wait til she's 15 or 20, you'll wish the arguments were about pee......

...and since you're actually giving credence to her argument by not having a response, go in the bathroom alone and fake it...she'll want to emulate you...she'll go in alone and do what kids do alone in the bathroom, use to much tp and occasionally clog the toilet, but go potty alone....
