hello everyone i new to this site. i am 37 years old and live in east tennessee. i have been paralized now for about 10 months. i became paralized form an epidural shot to my lower back. so far ive delt with it farly well, although its been really hard on my family. dealing with my bowel movements has been the hardest part for me. i have an incomplete injury but i am in a chair. i have movement in my legs but not much in my feet. i can walk on a walker but only short distances. im still in therapy and hoping to get better but dont know how much more movement i;ll get back. i have a lot of questions so i hope i came to the right place. well just wanted tto give a little info about me see ya mike

AHRR ME BUCKO!
It's "talk like a pirate" day!
I think. Maybe not. But who cares, it's always talk like a pirate day here at Cap'n Simon's Grand Gathering o' Gimps and Gimpettes.
And yes, as stated above you have fortuitously stumbled upon the right place at the right time.
But take heed my boy.
Danger lurks around every corner. At each high vantage awaits a sniper's eye peering through the reticle.
A martyr swaddled in semtex under each man-hole cover.
Oil slick as greased owl shit lies pooled at the apex of all curves.
Tread softly my young friend.
Stay sharp. Eyes open. Ears perked.
We are being tracked as a hawk tracks a chicken through the dust of a barnyard gone foul with the effluvium of despair.
Well, enough of this crap.
Welcome to the site.

Wish you all the best.

Buckcrazy,
I fell 22' off a ladder this past June and I'm a T-11 incomplete, I spent 3 months at the Shepherd Center In Atlanta. Shepherd is a great place and I owe them alot for them helping me get my life back. At first I started getting some movement in my right leg then SLOWLY it all came back. I've been walking for the past 4 months. Just hang in there and BUST YOUR BUTT with the rehab. I hate hunting from a ground blind.

Hello, Buck, and ditto to all the welcoming and "right site" stuff above. Just one thing, bud. Watch your ass with E-Dog. If you didn't notice, the guy's out there, walkin' (rollin') to his own drummer, etc. ARG! Have a good time here - we all do, regardless of our "circumstances."
