Well I got a new 08 KFX 450 quad. The reason I got that particular one, is a reverse gear and lightweight. I got the Kliktronic shifter installed and it works perfect. I rode it around the block and it felt really weird. I am a T-1 complete, and I was very "tippy" on the seat. Most of the guys on this site don't use the go cart seat set up on a quad, but it seems they are a lower injury level. I seemed to slip off to one side or the other even when sitting at a stop. It felt as though I was sitting on a balance beam with my legs dangling in air. I am going to try it as is this weekend, and then I think I am going to do the go cart seat thing. Any input would be appreciated, and thanks to those I have contacted already.

Sounds like a nice quad, pretty fast. I agree with the cart seat, i'll bet it really helps. Don't forget to deal with your feet, maybe some nets and a few velcro straps.
You are probably the highest level i have heard of that's riding again, that's awesome.
be careful and have a good time,
