Hi

Has any one got any ideas on how to remove hand rim marks for porcelain toilets?

The only thing I have not tried is sandpaper lol.

Thanks for any advice.
If I fall out of my wheelchair in the woods would anybody hear me?

Porcelain paint, it is commonly used for bathtub and shower repair. A few different types are available. I have only used the can spray on type, worked well. For a lil preventative measure try putting some thick tape (like duct tape) where your chair makes contact to the toilet. This will create enough of a barrier to protect against future scrapes. Hope this helps, good luck.

Ahh pikey..what you need is a girl with a dremel and her 100 attachments ehhe .... what I do here is get the dremel with some polishing compound and use the felt dremel polisher ;)
Works a treat!! It does take a few minutes, I tend to give it lots and lots of light touches with the polisher.

...Then I get my flowery frame protectors back out of the wash and put them back on my chair, no more scratched toilet ;)

I had this issue as well. My scratches are caused by my front caster however, not my hand rim. To avoid it, I keep a small hand towel near and just toss it over the caster when I pull up to the bowl. Works great.
