Any guys find out if this happens over time from inserting the cath over the years?

not in itself but usually there are pelvic floor issues etc. as a result of paralysis and many suffer from some incontinence.

yes I am leaking after six years of self cath. It leaks when I insert ducolax and the stools come out. Also, sometimes when my bladder is fuller, it will also leak when I sleep.

The examples given above aren't, I'm pretty sure, due to long term use. These things happen regardless, imo.

I'm not convinced that over time your sphincter muscle will leak do to intermitant cathing. Maybe however, as you get older the sphincter muscle weakens. It's natural with ab's too, and has nothing to do with cathing.

yes it definitely leaks, i don't think this is to do with cathing but it is to do with sci,i never leaked before this and i am 100% positive its not to do with age,its too much of a coincidence that i never leaked at 39,pre sci but at 40 leaked,post sci
