Hello All,

I got a T7 incomplete whilst failing to ride my motorbike perpendicular to the road in 1996 and went through wheel chair, frame, crutches, stick, unaided over a year but with bad limp on left leg and weak right leg ever since .

They said that after 5 years not much improvement occurs and it is true the little jumps in improvement have tailed off over the years but last week out of the blue I got a large improvement. It was one of those where suddenly the muscle is back and you immediately pull it / strain it so it hurts as it is so weak. It's now getting stronger and my walking is a lot smoother and the leg and toe pick up is such now that I don't scuff my left foot. I'm not limbo dancing or high hurdling yet of course :)

Has anyone else had noticable improvements well after the 5 year mark ? I'm sort of getting greedy and wanting to be able to run and use a clutch in the car now of course.

All the best to everyone,

Regards

Andy

I had some improvements in the 1st 18mo but since then it has been going down the crapper.

MORE pain AND less function. :)

But glad for you though. :toast:
