My first post - good evening all
I have exactly the same problem as the poster above - recurring small bladder stones which eventually clog up my supra-pubic catheter. I've had an spc for around 11 years now and in that time must had 7-8 cystoscopy's to get rid of the stones. After each procedure I'll be stoneless for a few months and change the catheter every 6-8 weeks. But gradually the stones build up again and begin to block the catheter which leads to me by-passing and getting wet, and the intervals between changing catheters come down to every 1-2 weeks. Also, every time I by-pass the catheter and piss 'normally' literally dozens of small stones can be expelled as well.
Has anyone else experienced this and if so how did they deal with it? Is there a cure or have I got to go through this cycle every 12-18 months?
Thanks in advance!
