Jaison (with an I)

Just had a quick look at your survey.
Gonna be quite the undertaking for a broken down old man like me.
But I wanna help, any way I can. I mean, ya know, you seem like a nice enough young feller to me there Jaison (with an "I")
Recon it'll take 'bout a six-pak to get through it though. Lots o' cigarettes too, Camels or Lucky's, either one'll do long as they ain't got none o' them tampon-lookin' things stuck on the end. A pack or two oughta work, (to steady the nerves fer typin')
Maybe a small REE-ward fer when I'm done. Say a fifth o' Jack Daniels? :santa:

Anywho. You know where to reach me there young feller.
Name's E-dog

E-Dog -

I'll forward you anything you need. I just appreciate your accomodating a "youngin" (<---- Is that spelled right) like me. I look forward to getting to know you and everyone else in the forum. Maybe we can share a fifth sometime! I'm always read!

I took the survey for ya.

One thing though........I don't think my disability is as much on the forefront of my daily interactions with others whether they be able bodied OR disabled as it seemed to me that you may think. I mean sure obviously people will see the wheelchair unless they're blind, but there is SO MUCH MORE to me.
*Enjoy every sunset, but be grateful for every dawn.*
*Wheelchairs are made of a special ocular magnetic alloy......they're "eyeball magnets".*
*I USE a wheelchair, that does NOT make ME a wheelchair!*

Jaison, I took your survey. I hope you find it beneficial. It takes a little longer than you suggested, so you might want to adjust that "5 minutes" claim. Also, your question about small talk needs to be altered: "Is small talk important or a waste of time?" cannot be answered "Yes" or "No". You need to change either the question or the answer.

I filled in the so called Survey but found some of the questions somewhat vague and irrelevant. When it came to the final question, asking for names and email address I became suspicious; I just wrote, "NO"!

After spending 10 or 15 minutes filling it in I now feel its just a gimmick, especially when I saw the final page.

I agree with Scrib. I didn't get past page 2. If it was a serious survey, a lot more thought would have been given to the wording of the questions to avoid ambiguity etc.

I have to admit, that last page gave me pause: it didn't make me think it was a gimmick, but it did make me think "cheeky buggers"! I didn't give any answer to that question asking for other e-mail addresses.

I assumed it was an undergrad first attempt at a survey.

I filled it in, figuring it was a first attempt as well. He's not requiring personal info. And it's not meant to be a scientific survey.

To our young friend Jase (ie, o, n) -

I'll call ya' JJ - How's that for a compromise? If not acceptable, I'll misspell your name every time I correspond....

Took your survey, and - like many above - had some difficulty with the questions. So, I took the liberty of taking serious liberties with them. I enjoyed myself; so did my fiancee when I read the responses to her.

No offense. Just do your homework a little better and you'll come up with some reliable data.

Good luck on your project.

Lynn
