Hello,

I had an operation back last may of 2008 it was an l3/l4 l4/l5 laminectomy and partial discetomy, felt fine the 1st day went home and starting leaking spinal fluid by the handtowel full. Went to ER and Dr. operated on it he had to reopen the sight staples and all and sew up the nice size tear. Was in hosp. for another week and my legs and back have never been the same. I have real trouble walking with a cane and only for short distances, constant pain in back and legs etc.

I went to a new Dr. this time a neuro told me a bunch of stuff I really don't understand and have asked about in another link. He want to have me first do a trial with a spinal cord stimulator and then have it surgically implanted, this makes me very nervous, if something else goes wrong I don't know if I can take it.

Has anyone ever had one of these implanted and does it really work?

Thank you,

Nipper
