i've been luck that my spasms are not usually that bad, i have a uti now and they are worse. i was just thinking that my spasms aren't really 'spasm' like, they are more of just a tone. i do get the elvis leg often (clonis?). instead of a jerk or quick spasm my muscles just slowly tighten then relax. my legs don't kick out or jerk or anything. i was wondering how other people's spasms are, does anyone else have them like me or do you have them like a real spasm?

also, has anyone had a tendon transfer in their hands? i've been looking into it but haven't heard of anyone that has done it.

thanks,
emily

Hey Emily, ya my spasm's get like that on occasion...Alot of it usually has to do with what i'm doing at the time, the slower spasms usually happen to me while i'm at the skatepark and am taking impact shocks...The faster spasms, while i'm rolling over rough ground. I don't worry about it too much...But if this is something new for you, I would recommend talking with your doc next time you see him.

Hi,

My spasms are more like the slowly tightening and then releasing. Occasionally I get ones that jerk but that hasn't heppened so much since I had my spinal fusion. They tend to increase when I have pain or a UTI.
