Hi,

Has anyone had a 'Dorsal root entry zone (DREZ) operation for the relief of pain from a brachial plexus injury? I'm badly suffering at the moment with the damage nerve pain, the medication i'm on at the moment is 300mg lyrica a day and 25ml of amitriptyline at night, I don't really want to up the dose because of the side affects.

Thanks,
Paul

Hello Paul,

I don't take Lyrica (yet anyway), but I do take Gabapentin (Neurontin) 1500 mg daily, and 25 mg of amiyltriptolene (sp)? at night..my pain management doctor told me that I could take up to 50 mg of the amiltriptolene at night if needed..which I am gonna try tonight!
