A little more than a week ago I got Lasiksurgery on my eyes (the website is the doctor I choose to do the surgery). I had time to do it while hubby & I were on a "baby break" since were starting the IVF in April. It's something I've been wanting to do for years and years. I wore glasses for 14 years and contacts for 12. I was nearsighted (myopia) and a really good candidate for Lasik. It's totally amazing to be able to just see! I get out of bed in the morning and no glasses, I can see the clock at night, and don't even get me started on all the crap that I had to do with contacts. I love just putting on a pair of sunglasses and not constantly worrying about my contacts. I have 20/15 vision not - that's better than 20/20 and the doctors are really happy with my recovery. Finally, something worked out for me and boy am I happy! Best thing I've ever done for myself. Now, I'll just have to update the pictures of me. Seriously people, if you wear glasses (both farsighted or nearsighted) look into Lasik. It costs a little moola but totally worth it. :D
