I keep getting really intense searing pain around my stomach below level of inury. I used to get it in hospital now and then but last night it actually kept me awake and it's getting a lot more frequent. Feels like a freezing cold stabbing. xx
Bowel management ok ?
Just some ideas ... can't think of anything else
Hope you get it sorted

I have a chronic pain below my level of injury. It's sharp in nature and has a short duration, however, occurs frequently throughout each day. A cyst was found in my spinal cord at my level of T-11, and apparently is the root of my nerve pain. Surgery is an option, however, there is no guarantee the pain will go away. I take Lyrica to aid in dealing with the chronic stabbing that I feel in the same spot in my groin. The Lyrica seems to help some days but on some days, the pain is relentless. Seems like we may be experiencing the same episodes of neuropathic pain. I wish you luck in finding comfort.
