I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or advice on getting a haircut?

I have found it extremely hard to find a barber shop that is handicap accessible or even a barber to come to my house. Is it just me or is there no where to cut you hair in Miami?

Buy some clippers like these: http://tinyurl.com/dzl3sv for the men and children, and save yourself loads of money!
Can't help with suggestions for the women's hair.

ugh women's hair is a butt! it took like 5 women to help wash and highlight my hair. (neck range of motion issues.)

Yep, about every two weeks, I roll out onto the carport and my wife brings out the electric hair clippers and scissors and buzzes my all my hair down to about 1/8". Saves a TON of money on barber bills and trying to find an accessible barber shop, etc. Plus, she can cut my son's hair at the same time. Two birds with one stone.

If you don't want to cut you're own hair/ wife cutting you're hair, most barber shops in shopping malls are accessible,

Many of the larger hair cut chains (Fantastic Sam's , Supercuts, etc. ) have at least 1 chair that is removable so you can stay in your chair. The downside to that being you're more likely to have hair-clippings on you or stuck on your chair somewhere. Also it is almost impossible to get a shampoo......though I think that is a bigger issue for us ladies with our long hair.

I'm fortunate in that I've got a friend who owns a hair salon in town. I can't get in her shop but she is willing to come to my house. She comes and cuts my son's and my hair. We pay her a little extra so it's win-win.

Both the local barbers in our small town will cut my hair, while I stay in my chair. All I had to do was ask...

Just got a carport haircut yesterday, actually. ahhhh...nice and buzzzzzzed short. Just the way I like it. Now I don't have to worry about it for two weeks or so. I highly recommend it. :)

Hell, maybe I should set up a barber shop on my carport and try and make a litle extra cash!
