Greetings Family,

I hope this post finds you well. I have been on the wound vac for 5 months, with moderate results. At present, the wund appears to be at a stand still. I have heard hyperbaric oxygen therapy can be effective. Has anyone tried hyperbaric oxygen therapy to treat a pressure sore? Or have you heard about its effectiveness or lack there of?

yes i have used this before... i had a pressure sore on the heel of my left foot... i had hyperbaric treatment for 4hrs a week... made no difference to healing time... it still took about a 3-4 weeks to heal... also its very costly, it cost me $130/hr... waste of money i think.... the guys that worked there said should've done more, like 2 hours everyday.... waaay too expensive, if you just relieve the pressure on the area i rekon it'll still take the same time to heal....
