Remind me of my younger days!

His movies are scary in a thought provoking sense, not necessarily a gory sense.
I liked it mosly because it wasn't a chop-em-up psycho thriller. I guess I've outgrown that genre or they've just gotten to scripted and predictable.
His last movie, "The Village" was good too. Scary, but with a real story line and also thought provoking.

I love his films in general. Very thought provoking indeed. Movies like Signs, The Village, Lady in the Water, I own and love to watch over and over again. I like that they creep me out but without the chopping-body-parts-gore factor. I mean, sometimes I enjoy a good gorey horror movie but most horror movies these days are cheesy crap.
A few weeks ago I bought Beetlejuice at Best Buy because it was really really cheap. A friend of mine and I watched it twice in a row because we had forgotten how awesome that movie is and got such a kick out of it. Total classic. Tim Burton is fabulous. I can't wait for his Alice in Wonderland film that he's currently filming!

One of the best rocumentories I've seen. Not only do we see the band's personal and musical evolution, we also get a glimpse into the life of a master poet/songwriter, the wheres, whens and whos that helped shape him and his unwavering ethics that helped change the music industry.
Don't miss this 2 DVD set, it's fantastic

"UP" funny & cute movie but bring some tissues.......I wont ruin the where or why for anyone.
"Ice Age 3" funny as the others were & so far so good I'm not turned off by the idea of a 4th........but that could be pushing it. ;)

It was slow and had good promise....then it fell flat.
Also watched the remake of "The day the earth stood still" It was good, but I still love the original.

Harry Potter and the Half - Blood Prince.
It was bad...
Slow to move the story along, boring.
I can overlook some differences from the book, I understand fitting 650 pages into 2 hours of film will require some cuts of subplots but adding stupid scenes that have nothing to with the story and cutting others that serve to further the plot or give some understanding to the plot is not good, in fact it is shit. Like, no having the first battle of hogwarts!? that was a huge plot in the book and they just had the death eaters show up with no battle and had Bellatrix destroy the great hall.
Maybe my nerdy side is just pissed off because everyone loved it except me and a few fellow nerds.
