Hmm tonight we rented Kung Fu Panda, was ok but I feel asleep during it, same with Forgetting Sarah Marshall the other night. would give em both a 3 out of 5 stars from what I saw.

Saw Valkyrie w/ Tom Cruise.
I'm NOT a big TC fan, but the movie was actually pretty good.

Saw Unbreakable w/ Bruce Willis and Samuel L Jackson

Thought maybe I'd seen it before, but it was a really good. Unique as all M Knight's movies are.

I watched a really crappy couple of old black and white movies circa 1950's late last night/early this morning when I couldn't sleep. 1 was supposed top be about 2 teenage gangs (of 30 year olds) at war . . . ooooooo! The other was about "A teenage criminal goes on a cross country crime wave with his girlfriend". Both had wonderful acting and writing and direction

Has anyone watched Inglourious Basterds yet?!? I loved this movie much more than I thought I would have. (i was dragged to it). But turned out to be one of the best I've seen lately. Christoph Waltz was fantastic! Kinda slow throughout..and a little long. But worth it!

Yeah - saw it a couple of days ago and loved it. Couldn't believe I'd been in there 2.5 hours when it finished, Black, Funny and Gruesome in equal parts it was Tarantino back to his Pulp Fiction best. Superb.

So far today I have watched.....

X-Men Origins:Wolverine (I am a closet X-Men fan!) 8/10

District 9 (I never thought I would feel sorry for aliens and will never look at a prawn sandwich in the same way again) 9/10

and

Children Of Men (A British apocalyptical movie featuring the end of mankind) 9/10

I now need a brief pause in proceedings to restock ice cream supplies and decide what to watch next

I had the exact same experience (well, I think) - this is a masterpiece - but remember not to expect a 'normal' war movie - this is ending second world war - do I dare say - as it should have been

I concluded my movie watching day with:

Kidulthood, a pretty realist interpretation of inner city London living. It was refreshing to see the other side of London being portryed and not just the one seen in films such as Notting Hill and Love Actually etc, 7/10

Seven Pounds: Good story and a very lovely Will Smith:D 9/10

Thats all for tonight! I have very much enjoyed my day slumming it with movies.

Kidulthood and its sequel were really both great movies.
