Hello my fellow friends,

For this summer I am planning to build a wheelchair with some broken wheelchairs I have stored at my house. Since my accident I have been using those square and heavy wheelchairs you can see in most hospitals, so I am not familiarized with the system of taking off the wheels. So as a favor, I would like if someone can provide me some picture of how that system works. Also, any advised about how to build the wheelchair less heavy will be welcome.

I want to do this my summer project, and if I feel more comfortable with the wheelchair, I am going to use it as my permanent one.

Thank you

Hi I have an older rigid frame chair that was made in Chico CA. by a co. that went out of biz or got ate up by the big guys. It's lite weight and tough as nails and would be a good chair after it was tuned up. Anyways if you could use it I could send it to you.

longhaul,

Thank you for answering me, and sure I want it. Just send me how much will cost me the shipping. Also, it will be nice if you could send me one picture, but if you can’t it is not big deal.

Thank you.
