nope. your everday chair will do.

you'll find that you're goign to have to transfer to the machines most of the time...unless you're just doing curls at home with some dumbbells.

As said transfering to a normal machine or equipment will probably have to be done if ya cant find a gym with the seats that swing to 1 side, the chair you use every day will be ok for things like arm training and bumbell work but i would not try doing shoulder press with a barbell or smith machine sitting in ya chair it will put a little too much stress on the chair. If i could transfer onto the seats in a gym i would prefer to do that but i find it hard to do that having no trunk control it may be easier for your self if you have some mid section stability then strap ya self to the seat to keep you in sat on it ok. But you will be able to train ok in your wheelchair if transfering is a problem adapting the excersises to suit you.

Just start off using dumbells, if your thinking of doing it at home, but if you're thinking of going to the gym go for it, most gyms are suitable nowadays anyway. I train at home and in the gym but do prefer the gym coz I feel more motivated there.
I just use the normal benches etc, but there are a few that are swing away style, like the Lat pull downs, butterfly machine and a few more. You'll only know if you go and check it out and see what you feel comfortable with.

Good luck.
