Hi,

does anyone have an idea of where I might be able to find information on how mnay people sit ski in the UK, Europe or the US?

any help much appreciated!

Wow, that would be probably be a difficult statistic to find out.... I guess you could start polling people on various forums on the internet, call up adaptive programs at various mountains/resorts and ask about their numbers, get info from the Paralympic committes, ask about entry numbers in the mono skiing event in the X Games, etc.

I ski. I have a friend who skis. That's two of us. Oh, and Kevin Bramble. That makes three. :mellow: There are others on this forum who ski as well.

You could try Disability Snowsport UK, Back Up or look at the British Disabled Ski Team websites. Numbers would be really hard to estimate, there are about 128 male sit skiers who are current racers, info from IPC Alpine Winter website. There are 6 of us currently on GB Team, with more in Development squad. Is it just numbers you're after or other information? Contact me on tskeelspiggins@hotmail.com if you want more specific info.

how about contacting the manufacturers. there are only a few, Praschberger, Freedom factory, tessier, yeti, brambles,
