Yes. Antibiotics via a drip. I was in hospital at the time following surgery and also had an infected wound near the site of the cellulitis.
I don't suppose that helps you much though. Sorry.

Tom recently spent a week in the hospital with IV antibiotics and topical anti-fungal cream; we've been treating it at home with anti-fungal spray that seems to be working. I guess it depends on the nature of the infection. At one point it covered the entire back of his body from above his waist down almost to his knees.

I also spent a couple of days in the hospital on an antibiotic IV drip. Be sure to pay attention to recovery, though; the cellulitis was in my leg, and it remained swollen for several months. We finally went back to the doctor and found out that the cellulitis had actually caused lymph edema, which is a lifetime condition. I had to go to a specialist to work out management of the swelling.
