I Suffered fractures at L1 &l2 & i am about to undergo a spinal fusion operation what can i expect

HELLO i had one years ago the actual op is nothing to worry about the only pain i got after was where they take the hip graft bone and fill the spine with it.
they will try to get you upright asap but the first time is very difficult as you have probably been lying down for a long time,you go dizzy then they lie you down again and raise the head part of the bed,then later they get you upright again this time it shouldnt be so bad,good luck mate
