hi,

i will be traveling from the us to china in a few weeks and my father has asked that i bring him a wheelchair as he does not have access to good ones there. the last one i bought him did not meet his needs and is already breaking down. please, i need some help!!

i don't know how to describe the extent of my father's injuries, only that he has very limited use of his arm and legs. he is looking for a sturdy manual wheelchair but nothing fancy. he is 6'2", probably close to 200 lbs (is my guess) and needs an extra cushion for support on the base. the last wheelchair did not have a back high enough for him.

since he spends most of his time in a wheelchair (except when he is in bed) i would like to really invest in a good quality one and hopefully low maintenance and a comfortable ride for him. i only have two weeks to find one...please help!!

thanks in advance for any tips!

You could check different web sites that build and sell wheelchairs!
One of them is this one: Karman

You can also check this buying guide: Buying Guide

There are really a lot of choices depending of his needs and how much you would like to spend?! Good luck!
