Ok 'fes up,who's got them all? :)

Health trust's wheelchair amnesty

An amnesty is being held on North Tyneside in an effort to get people to return wheelchairs they no longer need.

Health bosses believe many redundant wheelchairs may have been stored away but new versions cost between £120 and £3,000 to replace.

Throughout May, wheelchairs can be dropped off at the Victoria Therapy Centre, or collected free of charge.

Alison Ellis, from North Tyneside Primary Care Trust, said "we just need them back in stock".

She added: "We want to reassure people that the service is not worried about how long wheelchairs have been kept."
