I want to go to Israel, I have a place to stay but want to try and find out more info about general accessibility. You know the stuff, is the place full of steps, do they do dropped kerbs, public transport? hilly terrain, access to parks/national monuments/ museums, etc etc.

Havent been able to find much. We plan to stay in the Jerusalem area.

cheers

I have an Israeli friend who is currently working / travelling NZ I know she picks up her emails so if you don't get info from elsewhere let me know and I will mail her for help.
Enjoy your trip - I have not been but it is on my list

Hello.

If it is not hard, please, help me too.
I want to find a hotel in Eilat (Israel, Red Sea) and most importantly beach adapted for wheelchair users - already desperately to find.
I like to swim in the sea (swimming pools do not like).
And may be there are wheelcheir users from Israel, I want to finв them and ask some question about rest in Eilat on the sea,
if there are such - contact me, please.

If you can help me - i`ll be grateful.

Thanks in advance.

I havent been but I did date a guy who had a house there,.. He used to tell me that the newer areas of Israel were getting very commercial and similiar to the U.S. (lots of high standards, handicap accessibility and so on) BUTT of course, in the 'old country' is going to be tough to get around.

I dont know much Lucydog, but I would consider getting the hotel and whatnot near a new area and leaving the historic parts for day trips!
