Is there any other way to get rid of or reduce spasms besides taking muscle relaxers?
Baclofen just makes me tired and dizzy.

Hi,

The most effective non-drug way of reducing spasticity is stretching and sports.

Stretching in the morning will help desensitise your body, raising the trigger level of your spasms.

Sports with a lot of movement in them will also have the same effect, swimming being very good.

Some find anything that physically stimulates the body will also help, such as the vibrations from travelling in a car, massage, powerplate vibration exercises etc.

Hope this helps.

Simon
