I too use the massage technique on my daughter. I do a stretch of her quads, heel cords, shoulders and legs, every morning before I put her in the chair. She may be showing improvement by not having as much nerve pain since her injury 3/24/07. She asked me today to lower her dosage: gabapentin that she's taking in the afternoon. So maybe that's the improvement? Please if you have any suggestions on what else I should be doing would be greatly appreciated. She also does limited PT once a week for upper body strength and has also been using a recumbent cycle every other week.

My daughter is a licensed Massage Therapist, she massages my leg and it feels good and helps my spasms..... But no regaining of any feeling.....
If massaging helped regain feeling, I'd have the most sensitive gentile area in the world from Happa's massage..... he, he....
