ive been interested in buying the contour belt, im a c5-c6 quad and was wondering if anyone has used it and what kind of results they recieved. any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

let me better explain myself. the contour belt is a belt that goes around your waist, it sends electrical shocks to your stomach working out your abs and apparently makes you lose weight.

Hello! First of all, love your name and I hope you are talking about the Dallas Cowboys!

Anyhow, about your post, I'm not a cool wheeler like most on this site, but I remember seeing those commercials and stuff for what you're talking about. I watched an infomercial on it one night, and I've just always been very skeptical. I'm not sure how it would work for a C/5-C-6. I'm thinking that it suppose to make your abs flex from a natural reaction of being shocked, but not sure if your abs would be able to flex from it. I could be wrong, especially since I've never used it, but I'm pretty sure that's how it works.

Anyone else know what we're are talking about?

Hi Joe,

Did you ever get a contour belt and if so how'd it work? I see this was posted back in 2009 so I'm not sure you'll even see this reply.

I used one religiously for weeks and saw absolutely no improvement, but i have a complete injury and i expect results for an incomplete injury would be different

I bought one but have not used it. I had my brother, who has same build as me in midsection area, try it so I could know if he could feel his muscles working from it. So far, he says that he definitely feels his muscles flexing just as it is supposed to. As far as losing weight and becoming more defined, we haven't tried it long enough to know that!
Imagine what I do when I need to laugh or feel better. Imagine a purple hippo standing up straight wearing pink clown shoes and juggling lime green Jell-O squares!
