When i stand up for my ambulation, my left leg usually is plantar flexed. I tend to tip toe in the first 3 to 5 steps before the foot goes down to the floor.
I have been advised to undergo two options
tenotomy and heel cord lengthening.

Either will relax the spasticity of the left leg. I would appreciate any comments regarding undergoing this procedure. Is this advisable for SCI patients?

How long does recovery take. What is the difference of one from the other?

Need your advise?
