Anyone Paralysed Higher Than Their Injury?

hiya all hopes everyone is well and happy

was just wondering if anyone of you are paralysed higher up than your injury

my injury is T12 L1 but im paralysed from T6

never been quite sure why and suppose not really pushed for a reason

well as I said hope all is well

I'm C4/5 Incomplete but some say I'm dead from the neck up; does that count?

Probably a touch of 'Old Timers'.... :mfrlol:

I am. T12-L1 fracture 17 years ago but SCI about T8. Sensation stops at ribs. Thought it odd also........
Course before my fusion I could still move my legs, then it all went, the burning all the way up until gone.......

I know they told me in the ICU that Tom's injury was at T4, but his ASIA score puts him at T2. And he has a bit more sensation on one side than the other - I guess this is also pretty typical?

I'm a T10 complete injury but was told that based on my sensation level that I am more like a T8 injury.

My partners injury is c4/c5 and it rose to c0, was able to breath at accident site, and now vent dependant.
They said his was a spinal cord stroke that rose his injury.
